Hello there, I’m Michelle. I’m an adoptive mama, a mad lover of coffee, a terrible housekeeper, an avid traveler, a cancer survivor, and a huge fan of putting my hands in the dirt and my toes in the sand.
My passion is helping people heal from surgery, overcome low back and hip pain, and infertility (and all sorts of reproductive challenges) through both manual therapy and an anti-inflammatory diet.
My own quest for healing from both cancer and infertility in my 30’s led me away from a non-profit marketing job and into massage school.
I had an unused degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a fascination with natural healing but beyond that, I wasn’t sure exactly where my path would lead.
Mid-way through massage school, our instructor sent us home with an interview/article with Dr. Rosita Arvigo about her Maya abdominal massage techniques.
I read the article over coffee the next morning and instantly I knew exactly why I’d been called to massage school.
I scoured the internet and read through article after article about Rosita’s work. As the magnitude and possibility of this work unfolded in front of me, I knew, for the first time ever, the direction my life was meant to take.
Nearly 15 years have passed since that article crossed my path, my learning continues to expand, and I’ve been blessed to share my healing work with many hundreds of women and men throughout the Northwest.
I look forward to discussing with you how I might be a part of your healing journey
